East Solent and Downs Methodist Circuit was delighted to welcome its second Anna Chaplain early in January. Marian McClure was commissioned at Havant Methodist Church (Hampshire) by her minister, Revd Elize Goddess and, fittingly, this was in the context of the church’s annual covenant service. During the service, Marian gave a powerful testimony, describing the moment she realised she was a much-loved child of God. She has a strong calling to minister to those living in residential care and to all who need to know that God loves them. BRF Ministries’ Anna Chaplaincy coordinator Marian Muskett was also pleased to take part in the service. Marian is looking forward to working ecumenically with other Anna Chaplains in the area.
