‘We are so pleased to support St Wulstan’s Church in York (just north of the city centre) in their desire to appoint an Anna Chaplain in a paid, part-time role (15 hours/week)’, says Debbie. ‘It is really encouraging to see increasing numbers of churches investing financially in spiritual care among older people, as it enables working-age folk with a heart for this ministry (but a need for paid employment) to join the growing Anna Chaplaincy movement.
