Sunday 24 April, saw the premiere of BRF’s centenary service of thanksgiving and celebration on YouTube. It went live at 3.00 pm and by this morning many hundreds of people had already watched it worldwide.
Since 1922, thanks to the last 100 years of BRF’s ministry, countless lives have been touched through the charity's work.
The service is available to be viewed now and for many months to come, so will reach far greater numbers than even were present at previous landmark services in such prestigious places of worship as Westminster Abbey and Central Hall, Westminster. Chief Executive of BRF, Canon Richard Fisher, said this year it was fitting that we are coming to you!
As well as featuring traditional hymns and gospel songs, and clips from many members of BRF staff, the speaker for the online centenary service is Canon Dr George Lings, BRF vice president and author. We share the text of his address as this week’s BRF article.
