Celia Spiers, Anna Chaplain in the Arden Marches Churches in Warwickshire, reports on the commissioning of their Anna Friends. Judging by the pictures, four-legged friend Alfie almost stole the show!

'On March 16, 2025 the Revd Kate Mier commissioned four new Anna Friends to join their Anna Chaplain, Celia Spiers, in serving older people in the Arden Marches (Studley, Mappleborough Green, Oldberrow and Morton Bagot).

Alan Greathead, Diane Pannell, Joan Lock and Charlotte Fitchett were joined by Alfie (the dog) who is very popular in the local care homes. Celia thanked them all for the service they have already given in their communities and all that they commit to give.

Each of the new Anna Friends received a message of support from the BRF Ministries team and an Anna Friends badge.'
