We are delighted to learn that Brighton-based Anna Chaplain and Story Chaplain Charlotte Evans has safely given birth to her first child – a baby boy called Zephaniah. Many congratulations to Charlotte and her husband James.
Fellow Anna Chaplain, Emily Kenward, chief executive of Time to Talk Befriending, which is home to three Anna Chaplains, including Charlotte and Julie Williams, said: ‘Baby Zephaniah is gorgeous and growing quickly by the day! Charlotte and James are over the moon.’
The recent TTTB newsletter is packed full of not just that very important news but also articles about a creativity project – the ‘Time to Draw and Connect’ Ageing Well Festival workshop – that has had all sorts of people drawing and painting and generally making things they love, and to express themselves, using all sorts of media.
Emily declared that the edition this quarter is ‘a whopping 32 pages! This is because our scheme members are sharing their stories and poems more than ever before so I really hope you enjoy the read as much as the team and I do!’
In addition, the charity has produced two videos recently for a new scheme they’ve devised: ‘The Ageing Journey Project’. Emily explains that ‘they feature scheme members Helen, Tony and Barbara. The first video outlines their views about ageing and how to age well, including helpful advice and wisdom. The second is about their experience of the charity. I hope you enjoy watching the videos as much as the team and I do!’ Do watch the two videos on YouTube – The Ageing Journey and Our experience of Time to Talk Befriending by scheme members Helen, Tony and Barbara.
