Easter Gifts galore

Bags of goodies for staff and residents in care homes in south London – a joint effort between Anna Chaplaincy and Mothers' Union

Diana Pattison and fellow volunteers have been busy in Bromley Common, south London, where she is an Anna Chaplain. Here are some of the 200 Easter gift bags they have taken to the two residential homes in Holy Trinity parish. They consisted of an Easter card, a tube of hand cream and a chocolate Fairtrade egg for the staff, and an Easter card, chocolate egg and card cross for the residents.

It was supported by donations from the congregation and put together by members of Mothers' Union. 'Because of the continuing restrictions we were not able to distribute them personally to individuals, but hopefully we will soon be able to go in and visit,' said Diana.

'This has been a great activity for all of us. We are hoping to spread this news far and wide.' News is being shared via the Mothers’ Union website and the local diocesan newsletter for Rochester Diocese.
