Tenth anniversary - Hampshire happenings

Winchester Anna Chaplain Pamela Gilbert

Anna Chaplain Pamela Gilbert was poised to offer information and answer questions as ministers and representatives from across the Methodist Southampton District met together recently.

The Synod was held in Pamela’s home church – the United Church in Winchester.  Currently there are three Anna Chaplains in the District and a number of other inquiries have been received lately.

Anna Chaplaincy Coordinator Marian Muskett

Meanwhile in Petersfield, Anna Chaplaincy Coordinator Marian Muskett held a Bring and Buy sale at her home church in aid of the charity.

So many Anna Chaplains and supporters have been holding fundraising events to mark the 10 year anniversary of Anna Chaplaincy as a national movement.  It is heartening to learn of the widespread enthusiasm for ministry amongst older people.
