Newly-appointed Anna Chaplain Revd Hilary Prichard is serving her community in Pontypridd through the South Wales Baptist Association, with the support of the HOPE Christian Community.
Hilary will also be involved in spreading the vision of Anna Chaplaincy to other churches in South Wales.
She told us how a kind donation had supported the creation of some special Valentine gift bags for the residents of Ty Gwynno Care Home in Pontypridd, ‘to remind them that they are loved’.
‘The wooden hearts were specially commissioned from a local craftsperson’, she said, ‘and were accompanied by a chocolate heart for each resident (with some for staff too!)’.
Hilary is the first Anna Chaplain for the South Wales Baptist Association. The HOPE in Hope Church stands for House Of Prayer and Evangelism.
