Kerri Angell is the latest Anna Chaplain to be commissioned in an Elim Church – this time in Loughborough. Kerri writes:
'On the 1st September of it was an honour to be commissioned by Anita Williams, Senior Pastor at Elim Church Loughborough, as an Anna Chaplain. A few years ago I had no awareness of Anna Chaplaincy ministry, and once discovered I was enlightened with the prospect of serving God in such a way within the community.
To date the ministry has been welcomed at the nursing homes visited and great fellowship has been enjoyed at a monthly seniors' event developed during this year. I can see the beginnings of something exciting emerging for the elderly within our community and look forward to God revealing more of this as our growing team and I faithfully deliver His works and honour the elderly,'
'It’s a great privilege to be part of the Anna Chaplaincy ministry and I thank you for welcoming me in. I’m excited to see how God is going to shape this ministry and direct my path. With an expectant heart I know that great things will happen that will Glorify His Kingdom and enrich the lives of our elderly.'
