Part-time paid Anna Chaplain sought for Hampshire Benefice

debbiethrower0

There had been a chaplain-led Anna Chaplaincy team in the villages of Bentley, Binsted and Froyle, which lie between Alton and Farnham, for a number of years. And now the churches are advertising for a successor to their previous Anna Chaplain, the Revd Nicky Smallwood, who has moved on to be a chaplain to the local children's hospice Naomi House and Jack's Place.

Despite the lack of a paid part-time Anna Chaplain for some while, several stalwart volunteer Anna Friends have been continuing their pastoral work among older villagers, and in particular to residents in the benefice's two local care homes.

If you are interested in the post, the deadline for applications is Wednesday March 13, and interviews will be held on Friday March 22. For more details of the paid role, visit https://winchester.anglican.org/vacancies/roles-around-the-diocese/
