Spiritual Care Series Zoom Course January - April 2025
BRF offer the opportunity to join a national Zoom programme for the Spiritual Care Series training recently launched in the UK. The course is a comprehensive introduction to enabling people to offer good quality spiritual care amongst older people in their local communities:

Episode 5: Dementia 3:00 – 5:30pm, Monday 3 March
Episode 6: A New Home and a New Way of Life 3:00 – 5:30pm, Monday 10 March
Episode 7: Grief, Loss, Death and Dying 3:00 – 5:30pm, Monday 31 March
Episode 8: Roles, Boundaries and Self-Care 3:00 – 5:30pm, Monday 7 April
Practical details
Facilitator Anna Chaplaincy trainer Anne Milton-Worssell Course Costs The cost of the course is £180. We hope that churches or organisations in which learners hold roles providing spiritual care will meet these costs from their training budgets where possible. This is particularly important for those taking on the role in a voluntary capacity.
Who is the course aimed at?
The course is aimed at those with an interest in spiritual needs in later life, including Anna Chaplains, lay and ordained ministers, pastoral carers and those in health and care support roles with older people.
Numbers are capped at 14, to allow learners to interact and get to know each other.
What is included?
• An introductory Zoom
• Eight Zoom sessions each lasting two and a half hours
• A participant guide
• A licence to access the Bridge learning management system online
